Dual Enrollment

College-In-High School Courses

Students have the opportunity to enroll in College-In-High School courses through our partnership with Mount Aloysius College. By completing the necessary paperwork, earning the designated grades and paying the college fees, students may graduate from Southmoreland High School with college credits and a college transcript. Credits may or may not transfer to a future educational institution. However, the credits do show an attempt to take the most rigorous courses possible, making the students more competitive to admissions counselors, employers and the military. Students are encouraged to check with prospective colleges for transferability of the credits.
